Come on down and holler up a storm at the third annual MMNY Porch Stomp!
With over 50 performances, jams, and workshops by artists ranging from bluegrass and old-time to folk and roots, this is a hootenanny you won’t want to miss.
Make your way to the porches of Governors Island’s historic Nolan Park from 12-5p on June 18th, and don’t forget to bring an instrument to play along to square-dances on the hour, open bluegrass and old-time jam sessions, and performances by over 50 bands and artists, including:

How to Get to Porch Stomp
Governors Island is accessible by ferry service. All other trips carry a There is a $2 round trip fare for adults and children over the age of 12. Tickets may be purchased in-person at the ticket offices. Please note that certain ferry rides on June 21st are free of charge: from Manhattan at 10 AM, 11 AM and 11:30 AM; from Brooklyn at 11 AM and 11:30 AM.
From Manhattan: The Governors Island ferry departs from the Battery Maritime Building located at 10 South Street, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry in Lower Manhattan. To get there on the subway, take the 1 to South Ferry, 4, 5 to Bowling Green, or the R to Whitehall St. Ferries leave from Manhattan at 10 AM, 11 AM and then every half hour from 11:30 AM until 6:30 PM. Ferries return to Manhattan at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM and then every half hour from 12 PM until 7 PM.
From Brooklyn: The ferry from Brooklyn leaves from Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, located at the foot of Atlantic Avenue (corner of Columbia Street). To get there on the subway, take the 2,3,4,5 to Borough Hall, A,C,F to Jay St./Borough Hall, or the R to Court Street, and walk west to the water. Ferries run at 11 AM, and then once an hour starting at 11:30 AM. The last ferry returns to Brooklyn at 7 PM.
Once you arrive on Governors Island, follow the signs to Nolan Park.
