Make Music Winter, having just completed its sixth year in 2016, is a free, outdoor musical celebration each December 21st that turns audiences into music makers. With a diverse array of talent and themes, Make Music Winter transforms New York’s cityscape with thirteen participatory musical parades on the winter solstice.
How to Join
Bring a small battery-powered radio if you have one. Radios will be available for the first 50 people to borrow. Note that admission to the garden is free before noon, and thus this event is free.
Make Music New York
is a live, free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year, with over 1,000 concerts on streets, sidewalks, and parks across the five boroughs.
