Joan La Barbara, the acclaimed vocalist known for her “extended techniques,” will lead a call-and-response vocal piece for singers of all levels, carrying sonic information across dramatic height differentials in the area near Bennett Park in Washington Heights.
Participating singers should assemble at noon at the top of the stairway at W 187th St and Ft Washington Ave. If you’re interested in participating, please sign up to perform and we’ll send you project updates and materials.
